Web Executive Producer (Schoolmusic.com), Amherst, NH
Currently serving as the senior business and technical manager for the entire E-Commerce operation. Primary job responsibilities are to drive and implement core business initiatives using any technology needed to improve on-line unassisted sales. I have final authority and accountability for all publicly accessible areas of our site, and routinely interface with sales and product management staff to negotiate and manage what gets published on-line and what does not. I was hired into this position to manage a team of web developers, visual designers and copy writers, however due to the small size of the company I currently have no direct reports. As a result, virtually all my work here has been advanced web development using ASP, VB, SQL and HTML. Experience using HomeSite, Visual Source Safe, Visual Studio, SQL Server, IIS Server, Windows NT/2000 and Photoshop.

Directed staff in web application architecture based on modular ASP designs to enhance reusability of the code, and reduce future maintenance costs. Conducted many interviews of Web Developers to fill open positions in my staff, hiring four and needing to manage two out of the organization. I always succeeded in achieving at least 90 to 95 percent of my MBO quarterly objectives which served to determine quarterly bonus awards. This home based business is still operating, providing clients with a variety of Internet related services including web development, web maintenance, visual design and human interface. Engineering Technician (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers), Pittsburgh, PA
Job responsibilities included software development using BASIC (over a dozen applications, some of which are still in use today), providing general assistance to civil and electrical engineers, computer aided drafting and design using Intergraph and Generic CADD, computer technical support for more than 40 computer systems located in dozens of field offices across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia.
